For this exhibit, the 500 watt halogen light was hidden behind the TV. It was on a timer so that every 2-1/2 minutes, it lit up the room for 2 seconds. The audience caught a glimpse of the 12 geisha face paintings on the wall. Then they were gone and all that remained was a sort of 'mask' after-image. click here to go back to description of this work
